As you are all well aware, we THE FRIENDS OF NUTLEY SINGERS "FAMILY" benefit greatly from the musical opportunities here in the Nutley School District. People often ask me how a program could become successful and popular amongst students so quickly, my answer is always three-fold; I have amazingly talented students, incredible parents and unending support of the Board of Education and Administration. Without these three components we would not have accomplished half of the events we all remember so well such as performances at Canterburry Cathedral in London, Palm Sunday at the National Basilica in Washington D.C., Carnegie Hall, The USS Missouri in Pearl Harbor, and this year Saint Marks Basilica in Venice and the cathedrals of Vienna & Salzburg. On Tuesday April 17th 2007 we will have another monumental performance which will include 317 Franklin Middle School and Nutley High School students singing on stage at the famed Carnegie Hall under my direction. I bring this all to your attention because on that same night is our school board elections and the voting for our school budget, if you have enjoyed as I have the past seven years of music making please support our budget so that this and all the worthwhile programs in the Nutley Schools can continue to change the lives of our students. Being a product of the Nutley Schools myself, I know first hand the value of the education that our students are receiving. 
 
Further if you are teveling, chaperoning or involved in our Carnegie Hall concert and cannot vote that day I have absentee ballots available, please see me ASAP and get yours... EVERY VOTE COUNTS!!! Lets do all we can to pass the budget.
